The Best Thing About Being A GG..... So Far
Now that I've had the opportunity to have a few games under my belt, I've also had the opportunity to experience my favorite part of being a Golden Glover..... So Far. It's not the amazing attitudes and camaraderie of my co-workers, it's not the chance to be a part of a game I've loved my whole life, it's not even getting introduced on The Jumbotron. All of those things ARE true, and great, but I have to say, that my favorite part of being a Golden Glover so far is..... Giving away the baseballs. The fans faces always light up like it's the best thing that's ever happened to them, and I Love Them All! There are though, a few that especially stand out..... The Senior Citizen gentleman, wearing a Veterans cap. He later told me that he had been waiting more than 40 years to get a ball. My Pleasure Sir. The couple with the young baby.
